TikTok star Gabriel Salazar and three others die in fiery car crash after police chase.
Gabriel Salazar, a TikTok celebrity, has been confirmed deceased after being involved in a car accident during a police chase in Texas.
Salazar, also known as GabeNotBabe on social media, was driving a white Chevrolet Camaro with three passengers when police attempted to pull him over on Sunday. They attempted but failed to release a tire deflation system, and the automobile finally collided with a tree and rolled several times before exploding into flames.
Officials from the La Pryor Fire Department, Crystal City Volunteer Fire Department, and Alamo EMS arrived and informed News4 San Antonio that they were having difficulty extinguishing the fire because of a damaged gas tank that was spewing gasoline.
Salazar joined TikTok in 2019 and had over 2 million followers until his untimely demise. He frequently posted videos of himself lip-syncing and dancing.
Danna Salazar, Salazar’s elder sister, announced her brother’s death on Instagram, and condolences to the young influencer poured in.
‘I’d give everything to have you here with us, we need you so badly,’ Danna captioned a sequence of photographs of her brother in Spanish. I won’t be able to see your lovely grin anymore. Little brother, I adore you. ‘I look forward to seeing you soon.’
Salazar and the other three passengers in the vehicle were declared dead at the spot.
