Three finalists will be revealed on Friday for the position of Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan

The University of Ibadan (UI) is going to pick a new Vice-Chancellor today.

The Joint Senate-Council Selection Board reduced the field to eight candidates on Wednesday after reviewing the 15 applicants for the job.

The eight successful candidates will have a final interview on Thursday, following which three persons will be submitted to the Federal Government for approval.

The government will choose one out of the three.

Professors Yinka Aderinto, Adebowale, Ademowo, and Salako, as well as Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Adebola Ekanola, passed the test on Wednesday.
