Squid Game Movie To Be Edited By Netflix Following Reports Of Harassment

A Korean entrepreneur alleges that viewers of the program have harassed her.

After a lady complained she had been harassed by hoax calls, Netflix allegedly confirmed intentions to change sequences from their rave series ‘Squid Game.’

Since the series debuted on the streaming service, the entrepreneur from Seongju, an Asian nation, has gotten thousands of calls and texts from fans inquiring about the horror competition, she told reporters.

“I’m surprised because this is the number I have been using for nearly 10 years.” “I’ve had to erase over 4,000 numbers from my phone,” Kim Gil-young revealed. “At first, I didn’t understand why, on the other hand, a buddy informed me that my number appeared in ‘Squid Game,’ and that I knew.”

Gil-young reportedly rejected down compensation offers of up to 5 million won (£3 million), reports said.

The number that appears on a mystery invitation card provided to potential actors within the series is going to be altered, Netflix and production company Siren Pictures announced on Wednesday.

“We’re trying to mend this issue with the production company, including editing sequences containing phone numbers when required,” Netflix said during a statement.

The Netflix series ‘Squid Game’ is probably going to shatter an enormous milestone because it is the most viewed series on the platform. The terrifying hyper-violent series premiered on the location last month to tremendous acclaim.
