No administration since 1999 has done more in six years to get Nigeria back on track-Buhari @61st Independence.
On Friday, President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) claimed that no government since the return of democracy in 1999 had accomplished what his administration has in six years.
Buhari made the remarks during a countrywide broadcast to Nigerians to commemorate the country’s 61st anniversary of independence.
Buhari’s predecessors were former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar’Adua, and Goodluck Jonathan.
Buhari stated that a lot has been accomplished in the previous six years on a variety of fronts.
He claims that his detractors misdiagnose modest improvement as stagnation.
“Despite limited resources, this administration has confronted our challenges straight on since taking office.
“No administration since 1999 has done more in six years to get Nigeria back on track.
“We will continue to serve the country: listen to everybody, preserve our democracy, and protect our country,” the President said.
