John Terry Aston Villa’s Assistant Manager Quits His Position

Aston Villa the Premier League club announced Monday that John Terry has left his position as an assistant to Dean Smith who is the manager with the sole aim of becoming a manager in his own terms

This former Chelsea and England captain, 40-years of age, joined Villa ahead of the 2017/18 season. He became the skipper of his new side.

He was one of the distinguished English central defenders of his time. Terry played 32 games for the Birmingham club before taking up the position of an assistant to Villa manager Smith.
