China instructs Alibaba and Baidu cloud units to better prevent telecoms fraud
China’s industry ministry announced on Tuesday that its cyberspace administration and police had summoned Alibaba (9988.HK) and Baidu Inc’s cloud operations to encourage them to improve their efforts to prevent telecom network fraud.
